8:00 am : Departure from Manaus on the Hotel to CEASA harbor where you will take a our speed boat to cross the river ( Negro river and Solimões river ) . With a short stop to see the MAGNIFICIENT meeting of the waters to cross CAREIRO DA VARZEA and will continue along the famous TRANSAMAZONICA ROAD and we go with Cae or Van for 50 minutes until you reach maçarico river , where you will take a our speed boat you to go Amazon Tarzan Lodge and exactly Juma river area where you will be staying during the tour.
Itinerary
DAY 1
8:00 am: Departure from your Manaus hotel to CEASA harbor, where you’ll board our speedboat to cross the rivers (Negro River and Solimões River). We’ll make a short stop to witness the magnificent Meeting of the Waters before crossing Careiro da Várzea. Then we’ll continue along the famous Transamazônica Highway by car or van for approximately 50 minutes until reaching Maçarico River. There, you’ll transfer to our speedboat for the final leg to Amazon Tarzan Lodge in the Juma River area, where you’ll be staying during the tour.
12:00 pm:Â Lunch
3:00 pm:Â Afternoon activities begin with a tour on a regional motorized wooden canoe to explore the local fauna and flora. Your guide will explain the ecosystem as you observe wildlife, enjoy the sunset, and spot birds and dolphins before returning to the lodge.
7:00 pm:Â Dinner
DAY 2
5:30 am:Â Early wake-up to watch the sunrise and observe birds and dolphins.
7:00 am:Â Breakfast
8:00 am:Â Jungle trek with your guide who will explain:
- Medicinal plants
- Survival techniques
- Local wildlife (spiders, monkeys, birds, sloths)
12:00 pm:Â Lunch
3:00 pm:Â Canoe tour for piranha fishing and wildlife observation (birds, dolphins), followed by sunset viewing before returning to the lodge.
7:00 pm:Â Dinner
8:00 pm:Â Night canoe excursion to spot caimans, with your guide providing explanations about these alligators before returning to the lodge for overnight.
DAY 3
7:00 am:Â Breakfast
8:00 am:Â Canoeing through channels, streams, and flooded forests to observe wildlife including birds, monkeys, snakes, sloths, and other animals.
12:00 pm:Â Lunch
3:00 pm:Â Departure for jungle camping where you’ll:
- Experience nocturnal jungle sounds
- Learn native survival techniques from your guide
- Practice fire-making
- Craft wooden spoons and leaf plates
- Sleep in hammocks with mosquito nets
7:00 pm:Â Prepare and enjoy dinner in the jungle, then sleep surrounded by nature’s sounds.
DAY 4
7:00 am:Â Breakfast in the jungle
8:00 am:Â Visit a local family’s home to learn about:
- Their customs and way of life
- Traditional plantations
- Daily routines
12:00 pm:Â Lunch
2:00 pm:Â Departure for Manaus
4:30 pm:Â Arrival in Manaus
