Itinerary
Day 1:
At 8:00 AM, departure from the hotel to Ceasa port, where we will board a speedboat to visit the famous Meeting of the Waters (where the Negro and Solimões Rivers meet). During the tour, the guide will explain this natural phenomenon, and there will be time for photos and videos. Afterwards, we will return by car (or van) on a 1h20-minute trip to Ariaú Village, with estimated arrival at 11:00 AM. At the lodge, guests will be welcomed with drinks and settled in. Around noon, lunch will be served. After the meal, there will be free time to rest and prepare for the day’s activities.
At 3:00 PM, the group will set out in a motorized canoe for piranha fishing and an exploration of the area, visiting the ruins of the Ariaú Hotel and the towering Samaúma, known as the “mother of all trees” in the Amazon.
At 6:00 PM, we will watch the sunset from the river before returning to the lodge. Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM. After the meal, we will head out on a canoe for a nighttime expedition to spot caimans and other nocturnal wildlife.
Day 2:
At 5:30 AM, we will take a canoe ride to witness the sunrise and the awakening of the forest, accompanied by the sounds of birds and local wildlife.
At 7:00 AM, breakfast will be served. From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, we will hike through the jungle, where the guide will share insights about the vegetation, medicinal plants, and possible sightings of tarantulas and other animals. After the hike, we will return to the lodge.
In the afternoon, we will visit an indigenous community to watch a cultural performance (traditional dance), with opportunities for photos and videos. Afterwards, we will swim with pink river dolphins in a designated area, returning to the lodge around 5:45 PM.
Day 3:
After breakfast, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, we will explore the region’s small waterways (igarapés) on a canoe ride.
At 3:00 PM, the group, accompanied by the guide, will head into the forest for an overnight camping experience. We will sleep in hammocks with mosquito nets, prepare our own food, and learn about local legends, jungle survival skills, and how to find water and food in the wild.
Day 4:
In the morning, we will return to the lodge. After breakfast in the forest, we will take one last hike around the camping area before heading back to the lodge, with arrival expected at 11:00 AM. There will be time to relax before lunch.
At 2:00 PM, we will begin our return trip to Manaus, with estimated arrival at 4:00 PM.
